I am now 25.
A quarter of a century old.
And I was majorly spoiled by husband, family, and students.
If you ever want to feel like your birthday is a big deal, just hang out with fourth graders. They will let you know that they spent two weeks on the card they made you.
They will do you the greatest honor by inviting you to eat lunch with them.
They will offer you their chips and cookie and make sure you have plenty of ketchup packets.
They will make sure to sing to you before the day is over.
And they will probably feel sad for you when they realize that you will be spending your birthday at parent teacher conferences so they might show up to their conference with balloons.
Yes, they will make you feel like a million buck-a-roos.
It snowed last night.
I have decided that I must move to a place where Autumn is
much,
much,
longer.
I got to spend a lovely afternoon with this little guy
and the wonderful grandparents of mine whom he belongs to.
And another delightful snippet...
Yesterday Ty was gone all night studying for his upcoming midterms.
So I decided to put together our new nightstands from Ikea.
I got finished with one and was quite proud of my work so I sent this text to him:
Me: One night stand done!
10 minutes later...
Husband: That last text doesn't sound so good when you first read it... Good job though!
Oops.
